Biographical Information

Kazuo Sugitani signed with the Daiei Stars in 1952, and he hit .267/.330/.400 in 65 games in his first season. He slumped to .154/.233/.167 in 1955, and he only got 18 more at-bats before he announced his retirement in 1955.
