Biographical Information

Kazunori Okagami was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 7th round of the 2000 NPB draft, and he was 1-for-4 in 10 games in 2001. He was mainly used as a pinch-runner in 2001, and he played 71 games with 17 runs, 5 steals and a 3-for-17 record. Okagami was 3-for-14 with 9 runs in 51 games in 2002, and he went 1-for-3 in 30 games in 2003. He only had 11 more at-bats for the big club, and he announced his retirement in 2007. He had 54 plate appearances in 174 games, scoring 46 runs and going 17-for-21 in steal attempts.
