Biographical Information

Kazumi Matsunami signed with the Hankyu Braves in 1959, and he was 6-for-46 in 1960. He only played 10 games in 1961, and he hit .169/.216/.229 in 57 games in 1962. Matsunami then went 5-for-33 in 19623, and he was hitless in 8 at-bats in 1964. The Braves then released him, and he signed with the Nishitetsu Lions. However, Matsunami failed to return to the big club, he announced his retirement in 1965.
