Biographical Information

Kazuki Miyata was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 6th round of the 2008 NPB draft, and he only pitched 7 games combined in his first five seasons. He had a 1.84 ERA in 10 relief outings in 2014, and he pitched 8 games with a 3.63 ERA for the Melbourne Aces in the 2014-2015 ABL. Miyata's ERA was 5.21 in 18 appearances in 2015, and he announced his retirement after missing the entire 2016 season due to left elbow injury.
