Biographical Information[edit]
Kazue Watanabe signed with the Kinsei Stars in 1948, and he hit .214/.225/.257 in 38 games in his first season. He slumped to .163/.200/.256 in 38 games in 1949, then he played 76 games with a .237/.264/.299 batting line in 1950. Watanabe was 5-for-34 in 1951, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Watanabe hit .214/.239/.273 with 73 hits in 4 seasons in NPB.
