Biographical Information

Kazuaki Miyazaki hit .322/.421/.432 in 81 games for the Adirondack Lumberjacks in 1999, and the Yomiuri Giants picked him in the 7th round of the 1999 NPB draft. He only played 4 games combined in his first two seasons, and he went 6-for-23 in 2002. Miyazaki was 5-for-21 in 2003, and the Giants released him. He signed with the Seibu Lions, but he only got 15 more at-bats before he announced his retirement in 2006. He later became a professional keirin player.

Overall, Miyazaki hit .213/.294/.230 with 13 hits in 5 seasons in NPB.
