Biographical Information

Katsutoshi Kamidoi signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1957, and he only pitched 4 games before he announced his retirement in 1958. He certainly did a superb job in his brief young career, yielding only 3 hits and 3 walks in 10 1/3 shutout innings, striking out six.
