Biographical Information

Katsuo Saito signed with the Hankyu Braves in 1960, and he was used as a reconnaissance player in his entire career. He appeared in 80 games on the record, but he only got one at-bat before he announced his retirement in 1973. Saito then became a minor league coach for the Braves from 1974 to 1982, and he coached the Nippon Ham Fighters from 1983 to 1985.
