Biographical Information

Katsumi Omuro signed with the Nittaku Home Flyers in 1972, and he hit .248/.295/.297 in 102 games in his first season as their 4th outfielder. He slumped to .152/.208/.197 in 1974, and he went 7-for-28 in 79 games in 1975. Omuro only got one hit in 18 at-bats in 1976, and he announced his retirement.
