Biographical Information

Katsuma Shimoo signed with the Nishi-Nippon Pirates in 1950, and he was 1-8 with a 5.76 ERA. He also hit .182/.259/.210 in 61 games at the plate, and he announced his retirement after that season. Shimoo then became a Karatsu city councilor.
