Biographical Information

Kaito Saiki has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Saiki was drafted by the Orix Buffaloes in the 2nd round of the development phase in the 2022 NPB draft; the scout was Etsuji Taniguchi. He had a 6.97 ERA in 10 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2023, and he pitched 13 games with a 4.58 ERA in 2024. Saiki made his NPB debut on May 26, and his ERA was 4.58 in 13 games for the big club that season. He broke out in 2025, and he notched 11 holds with a solid 1.87 ERA in 38 relief outings.
