Biographical Information

Kai Yokogawa has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Yokogawa was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 4th round of the 2018 NPB draft, and he had a 6.00 ERA in 4 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first season. He went 1-1 with a 3.48 ERA in the minors in 2020, and he pitched 5 2/3 innings for the big club. Yokogawa was 6-3 with a 4.03 ERA in the minors in 2021 (tying for 7th in the Eastern League]] in wins), and his ERA was 3.38 in 2 appearances for the top team. He allowed 5 runs in 3 innings in 2022, and he finally joined the rotation in 2023. Yokogawa went 4-8 with a 3.95 ERA that season, and he was 3-1 with a 0.94 ERA in 2024 (also tying for 5th in the EL with six wins there again).
