Biographical Information

Kaede Yokoyama has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Yokoyama was drafted by the Orix Buffaloes in the 6th round of the 2021 NPB draft, and he had a 2.36 ERA in 25 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first season. He pitched 32 games with a 4.66 ERA in 2023, and he also had a 7.36 ERA in 4 appearances for the big club. He recorded a solid 0.82 ERA in 10 appearances for the Melbourne Aces in the 2023-2024 ABL. Yokoyama notched 14 saves with a 3.65 ERA in 47 appearances in 2024, and he led the Western League in saves; he didn't reach the big club though.
