Biographical Information[edit]
Justin Frometa earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Tufts University in 2020. He initially planned to play baseball at Tufts, but elected to leave the team his freshman year.[1]
After working various jobs and being self-employed as a hitting coach for a couple of years, the Boston Red Sox hired Frometa in 2021 as a Player Development Associate Intern. The Red Sox brought him back in 2022, this time as a Baseball Operations Associate - International Scouting Intern. Frometa joined the Portland Sea Dogs for the 2023-2024 seasons as their Development Coach. He returned to the Boston front office in 2025 as a Player Development Assistant and was promoted to Player Development Manager in 2026.[2]
