Biographical Information

Jun Yamamoto was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 3rd round of the 2006 NPB draft, and he had a 6.94 ERA in 12 appearances in 2009 after staying in the NPB Farm leagues for two years. He pitched 9 games with a 9.45 ERA in 2010, then he had a 6.52 ERA in 4 games in 2011. Yamamoto's ERA was 2.25 in 12 relief outings in 2012, and he announced his retirement in 2013.

Overall, Yamamoto went 0-3 with a 5.52 ERA, struck out 22 and pitched 44 innings in 4 seasons in NPB.
