Biographical Information[edit]
Jun Togashi played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 4 years.
Togashi signed with the Osaka Tigers in 1946, and he hit .270/.301/.315 in 66 games while having a 3.60 ERA in 3 appearances in his first season. He recorded a .271/.306/.314 batting line in 1947, but he missed most of the 1948 season due to a knee injury. Togashi played 26 games with a .217/.250/.283 batting line in 1949, and he announced his retirement. He coached Heian High School from 1952 to 1959.
Overall, Togashi hit .262/.294/.306 with 135 hits in 4 seasons in NPB.
