Biographical Information[edit]
Jose Halman was on the Netherlands Antilles national team in the 1961 Amateur World Series. [1] The catcher signed with the Minnesota Twins, one of the first Antillean players signed by a MLB team. [2] He was 3-for-21 with two walks and two runs for the 1963 Orlando Twins. It seems possible that he was related to Eddy Halman (and thus Greg Halman and Jason Halman).
