Jorge Brown
Jorge Enrique Brown Morales
- Born February 22, 1944 in Ponce Puerto Rico
Jorge Brown won Bronze with the Puerto Rican national team in the 1970 Amateur World Series, hitting .472, .005 behind leader Abel Leal; he tied Carlos Urriola for second. He was also with Puerto Rico for the 1971 Pan American Games. He hit .333 in his career in the Puerto Rican amateur leagues, winning batting titles (.414 in 1969, .390 in 1970, .375 in 1971 and .392 in 1972). He later coached youth baseball. A SS/3B, he made the Rio Piedras Sports Hall of Fame. He was also a musician.
