Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Jon Erhard played four years of college ball at Ohio Wesleyan University and majored in History Education. He played another season in 2021 while a graduate student at the University of Rio Grande where he earned a master's degree. He may have worked as a graduate assistant coach for the RedStorm in 2021 and 2022. During the summers of these two years, he was an assistant coach for the Champion City Kings in the Prospect League. Erhard joined the DePauw University Tigers in August 2022 as a volunteer assistant coach. He continued as an assistant coach through 2024.
The San Francisco Giants hired Erhard as a hitting coach for their DSL Giants Black team in 2025-2026.
