Biographical Information

Infielder John Kupsey played in the Atlanta Braves system from 1988 to 1990 and in the Philadelphia Phillies system from 1992 to 1994. He peaked at Double-A.

He was taken by the Braves in the 2nd round, 57th overall, of the 1988 amateur draft, one slot after infielder Scott Livingstone. In 326 games over 6 seasons, he hit .236/.315/.347 with 17 home runs and 113 RBI.
