Jiří Aubrecht played in the Extraliga and for the Czech national team.
He debuted with the Tempo Titans Praha in 1999 at age 17, hitting .180/.328/.260 and going 1-for-3 with a walk in the playoffs. Moving to the Eagles Praha the next year, he was 8-for-26 with three doubles, a homer and five walks then was 7 for 23 with a homer and four walks in the postseason. Moving back to the Tempo Titans in '01, the teenager improved to .381/.470/.577 with 34 runs in 27 games, going 17-for-20 in steal attempts. He led in swipes, two ahead of the runner-up. He was 3 for 16 with a walk and four doubles in the postseason. He hit .222/.300/.222 for the Czechs in the 2001 European Championship, scoring seven times in seven contests.
Aubrecht slipped to .269/.411/.418 for the 2002 Titans, scoring 42 runs in 33 games. He was one run behind leader Pavel Budský, tied Lukáš Macek for 4th in steals (12), was 8th in total bases (56, between Petr Baroch and Ivo Kučera), was second in walks (24, 3 behind Budský), tied for 4th with 3 triples and tied for 4th with 9 HBP. In the postseason, he scored 11 runs in 10 games, swiping four bases, and hitting .237/.341/.263. He was at .329/.397/.414 in 2003 and was 5 for 25 with a walk and a double in the postseason. In '04, he hit .247/.324/.303 in the regular season and .324/.375/.432 in the postseason.
In 2005, he hit .276/.408/.296 with 31 runs in 27 games. His 7 times plunked tied him for 6th. He produced at a .284/.385/.330 clip in 2006, going 10-for-13 in steals. Only Jakub Hajtmar and Lukáš Borecký had more steals. For the 2007 Titans, he hit .198/.298/.222 and tied for 5th with 9 swipes. In 2008, he was 2 for 5 with a walk, then did not play in the Extraliga in 2009. Returning to action in 2010, he hit .239/.340/.307 for Kotlářka Praha. He tied for 7th with 7 HBP. He was 2-for-9 with two runs in the postseason. In '11, he batted .339/.414/.407 for his best performance in years. He was 2-for-15 with a walk and four runs in the postseason. He ended his career in 2012, batting .167/.225/.250.
In 316 career games, he had batted .273/.375/.356 with 278 runs and 85 stolen bases in 117 tries. His 53 HBP were 19th all-time as of April 2025.
