Biographical Information[edit]

Jesús Erroz was on the Spanish national team. He is the brother of Miguel Erroz. [1]

He won Bronze with Spain in the 1989 European Championship. [2] In the 1995 European Championship, he hit .351/.442/.459 with 9 runs and 10 RBI in 10 games, fielding .793. He tied for the lead with four doubles (even with Sylvain Hervieux, Dmitry Lukin, David Meurant and José Arza) and tied for 10th in hits (13, even with Ruggero Bagialemani, Meurant and Manuel Martinez) but was 9th among the 11 qualifying shortstops in fielding (ahead of only Jani Malovic and Kent Sterner). [3] He was 1 for 15 in the 1995 Intercontinental Cup and fielded .895 at third (Javier Zabalza was now at SS) but he had the team's only homer of the tourney, off Brazil's Fabio Takara. [4] He was honored by the government of Navarra for his dedication to baseball. [5]
