Biographical Information

Jervic Chavez pitched in the lower levels of the Houston Astros minor league system from 2017-2021. He appeared in 47 games, all but two in relief. Overall, Chavez had a record of 6-5 with 10 saves and an ERA of 3.30. He spent the final few weeks of his playing career in 2021 with the Tri-City Valley Cats of the independent Frontier League.

Chavez rejoined the Astros organization as a pitching coach for the DSL Astros Orange in 2025-2026.
