Jenny Ortiz has been on the Puerto Rican women's national team.
She hit .400/.444/.533 in the 2022 Women's Baseball World Cup Americas Qualifier, handling 31 chances error-free and throwing out 22.2% of would-be base-stealers; in the title game, she drove in Kiara Resto with Puerto Rico's lone run off Frandelis García of Venezuela in a 2-1 loss. [1] Puerto Rico advanced to the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup, in which she batted .417/.533/.417, handling 10 chances error-free and throwing out 1 of 4. [2]
