Jean Remington Yawkey
Jean Yawkey assumed ownership of the Boston Red Sox on the death of her husband Tom Yawkey in 1976. She sold most of the team in 1988. Upon her death in 1992, the Yawkey Trust, led by John Harrington, took control of the club.
