Biographical Information[edit]
Javier Croes was a second baseman-pitcher for the Aruban national team in the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup. He had a three-inning save of Christian Diaz's win over Guatemala. He lost to Nicaragua's Armando Hernández. He had a 9.58 ERA for the tourney, still better than the team mark of 10.58; among qualifiers, only Carlos Wester was lower on the squad. He also had their lone save. On offense, he was 1 for 6, his hit coming off Mexico's Oscar Rivera. He had 7 assists without an error in the field.
