Jan Venema

Jan Venema hit .401 for Neptunus in 1984; 3 years prior, he had hit 13 homers to tie Jacky Jakoba and Keith McDonald for the lead. ^[1] He was on the Dutch national team in the 1979 European Championship (Silver Medal), 1981 European Championship (Gold), 1983 European Championship (Silver) and 1985 European Championship (Gold) ^[2] as well as in the 1983 Intercontinental Cup. ^[3]
