Biographical Information

Isao Tsuji signed with the Goldstar club in 1946, and he played 99 games with a .166/.217/.192 batting line as their starting catcher in his first season. He recorded a .154/.210/.169 batting line in 115 games in 1947; he had the lowest batting average in the Japanese Professional Baseball League. Tsuji only got 8 at-bats in 1948, and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Tsuji hit .161/.215/.181 with 110 hits in 3 seasons in NPB.
