Biographical Information

Isao Takayama signed with the Taiyo Whales in 1963, and he had a 2.74 ERA in 12 games in 1965. He didn't reach the big club again, and he announced his retirement in 1966. He then involved into the Black Mist Scandal, and he was banned for life. Takayama committed suicide in 1974.
