Biographical Information

Isamu Wada pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball for 5 years.

Wada signed with the Mainichi Orions in 1952, and he was 4-3 with a 2.03 ERA in his first season. He went 1-5 with a 3.81 ERA in 1953, and he had a 6-4 record with a 2.95 ERA in 1954. Wada's ERA was 6.00 in 7 appearances in 1955, and he announced his retirement after he recorded a 3.86 ERA in 5 games in 1956.

Overall, Wada was 11-12 with a 2.99 ERA, struck out 149 and pitched 256 innings in 5 seasons in NPB.
