Biographical Information

Ichiro Matsuoka signed with the Shochiku Robins in 1952, and he was 2-for-14 in his first season. He hit .253/.280/.380 in 36 games in 1953, and he was 7-for-45 in 1954. Matsuoka went 2-for-33 in 1955, and he announced his retirement.
