Biographical Information

Hitoshi Saida signed with the Toei Flyers in 1954, and he was 0-for-3 in his first season. He hit .203/.250/.304 in 84 plate appearances over 61 games as a backup outfielder in 1956, but he was 0-for-7 in 1957 and he announced his retirement.
