Biographical Information[edit]
Hisashi Sedohara was drafted by the Toei Flyers in the 7th round of the 1967 NPB draft, and he hit .200/.238/.200 in 41 games in 1968. He had a solid .370/.404/.556 batting line in 21 games in 1969 (the Toei outfield was a solid trio of Isao Harimoto, In-cheon Paek and Shoichi Busujima), but he then slumped to .151/.262/.151 in 1970. Sedohara led the Eastern League in hits in '70, but he still announced his retirement. He later coached Setouchi High School.
