Biographical Information

Hisaji Kitagawa signed with the Taiyo Whales in 1952, and he had a 4.50 ERA in 10 games in his first season. He had a 3.27 ERA in 5 relief outings in 1953, but he allowed 6 runs in 2 innings in 1954 and he announced his retirement.
