Biographical Information[edit]
Hiroyoshi Kigoro signed with the Hankyu Braves in 1956, and he only played 9 games combined in his first two seasons. He was 6-for-36 in 1958, and he played 55 games with a .240/.269/.333 batting line in 1959; he had 78 plate appearances, backing up Kingo Motoyashiki at short. Kigoro got a career-high 147 plate appearances with a .267/.303/.311 batting line in 1960, and he recorded a .267/.321/.347 batting line in 1961. He was 0-for-3 in 1962, and he announced his retirement.
