Biographical Information

Hiroshi Miyake signed with the Osaka Tigers in 1960, and he only got 6 at-bats combined in his first three seasons. He hit .255/.300/.340 in 26 games in 1963, but he then tore his ACL and he failed to return to the big club before he announced his retirement in 1965. He coached the Tigers from 1980 to 1981, and he became an assistant coach for Okayama Shoka University in 2011.
