Biographical Information

Hiromitsu Takagi played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 6 years.

Takagi was 25-11 with a MVP in his college career, and he was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 4th round of the 2005 NPB draft. He only pitched 7 games combined in his first three seasons, and he went 4-0 with a 1.64 ERA in 2009. However, Takagi's ERA rose to 4.15 in 11 appearances in 2010, and he announced his retirement after staying in the minors in 2011.
