Biographical Information

Hiromi Katayama has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Katayama played for Honda in the industrial league, and he was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the 4th round of the 2025 NPB draft; the scout was Ryo Kawano. He made his NPB debut on April 25, 2026 against the Yomiuri Giants, and he got his first strikeout against Bryan Mata.
