Biographical Information

Hiroji Matsukawa played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 4 years.

Matsukawa signed with the Kinki Great Ring in 1946, and he was 8-4 with a 3.57 ERA in his first season. He went 1-2 with a 3.47 ERA in 1947, but he allowed 3 runs in 4 innings in 1948. Matsukawa signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1950, but he went 5-11 with a 5.11 ERA and announced his retirement.

Overall, Matsukawa was 14-17 with a 4.28 ERA, struck out 108 and pitched 329 2/3 innings in 4 seasons in NPB.
