Biographical Information

Hidero Konishi signed with the Kokutetsu Swallows in 1960,and he hit .183/.241/.250 in 72 games in his first season. He had a .188/.234/.260 batting line in 86 games in 1961, and he struggled again in 1962 as his batting line was .194/.242/.242 in 42 games. He only got 3 at-bats in 1963, and he was released. The Tokyo Orions signed him, but he was 1-for-4 in 1964 and he announced his retirement.
