Biographical Information

Outfielder Hideo Ogishima signed with the Taiyo Whales in 1949, and he only played one game in his first season. He went to the Kokutetsu Swallows after the JPBL split into two leagues, and he played 91 games with a .185/.261/.239 batting line then he announced his retirement.
