Biographical Information[edit]
Hidemitsu Kagawa signed with the Kintetsu Pearls in 1950, and he had a 3.86 ERA in 6 games in his first season. He went 1-2 with a 3.38 ERA in 1951, and his ERA rose to 4.43 in 21 appearances in 1952. Kagawa then played 16 games with a 3.06 ERA in 1953, and his ERA was 2.86 in 10 relief outings then he announced his retirement.
Overall, Kagawa was 3-10 with a 3.68 ERA, struck out 67 and pitched 212 2/3 innings in 5 seasons in NPB.
