Biographical Information

Hideki Yamamoto was drafted by the Nishitetsu Lions in the 6th round of the 1969 NPB draft, but he only got 3 appearances in his first season. He pitched 11 games with a 5.00 ERA in 1971, and he didn't reach the big club again before he announced his retirement in 1972.
