Biographical Information

Hidekazu Hoshi was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 5th round of the 2004 NPB draft, and he only got 25 at-bats combined for the big club in his first five seasons. He also hit .170/.225/.213 in 2007 for the West Oahu CaneFires. Hoshi was 6-for-23 in 2010, and he went 0-for-3 in 2011. He played 71 games with a .190/.212/.280 batting line in 2012, then he announced his retirement after he had a 0-for-11 record in 1999.

Overall, Hoshi hit .179/.212/.247 with 29 hits in 6 seasons in NPB.
