Biographical Information

Heiji Torii signed with the Hankyu Braves in 1946, and he had a 6.75 ERA in 7 games in his first season while hitting .300/.382/.500 in 60 at-bats. He mainly stayed in the minors in 1947, and he had a 8-for-29 record in 1948. Torii only got 8 more at-bats for the top team, and he announced his retirement in 1952.
