Biographical Information

Heiichi Hayakawa signed with the Asahi club in 1942, and he hit .176/.222/.188 in 78 games in his first season. He recorded a .189/.260/.220 batting line in 82 games in 1943, and he joined the Goldstar club after World War II. However, Hayakawa struggled again in 1946 as his batting line was .138/.254/.160 in 84 games, and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Hayakawa hit .171/.249/.195 with 110 hits in 3 seasons in NPB.
