Biographical Information[edit]
Harumi Mano played for the Fujikura Cables in the Industrial League, and he was the first winner of the Inter-city Baseball Tournament MVP Award (later known as the Hashido Award). He signed with the Kinsei Stars in 1948 as their bench coach, and he also appeared in one game as a pinch-runner. Mano later became an umpire for the Pacific League from 1953 to 1963, and he worked 1,098 games.
