Biographical Information[edit]
Greg Mitchell played for Team Canada and in the independent leagues.
He hit .299/.394/.593 with 15 homers and 49 RBI in 48 games as a college senior. [1] He and Ryan Lentz were the Pacific-10 All-Conference picks at third base. [2] As Canada's main first baseman in the 1998 Baseball World Cup, he batted .259/.333/.481 with two homers in seven games. He homered off Nicaragua's Eduardo Bojorge and Australia's Brett Cederblad to tie Colin Dixon for the team lead in dingers. [3] Signing with the Tri-City Posse, he posted a batting line of .283/.355/.397 in 1999 and .300/.360/.424 in 2000.
