Biographical Information

Goro Matsuo signed with the Hanshin club in 1940, and he hit .210/.338/.306 in 23 games in his first season. He played 52 games with a .225/.299/.278 batting line in 1941, and he recorded a .237/.314/.296 batting line in 1942. Matsuo then enlisted into the military, and his professional career ended.

Overall, Matsuo hit .228/.312/.291 with 87 hits in 3 seasons in NPB.
