Gordy Johnson of Burnaby, BC pitched for Team Canada in the 1978 Amateur World Series. He allowed two unearned runs and no earned runs in 5 2/3 IP over 3 games; he gave up four hits and no walks while striking out four. Kerry Morris was the only other pitcher for Canada who did not allow a run.
